John West has traveled in all 50 states, has lived in a few, and traveled to several countries, too. The Western USA is his home base. Kayaking rivers and lakes brings John into contact with birds and wildlife in settings conducive to exceptional photography. John lived and worked at Grand Canyon National Park and volunteers at several National Wildlife Refuges along the Colorado River, his photography has been featured in birding brochures, National Park Service kiosks, National Wildlife publications and Arizona Game and Fish calendar. John was Artist of the Month at the John Wesley Powell Museum in Page, AZ in 2013. His photos are loved by many.
